Hi!
I also have a problem with the plug-in registry: unable to get connected. Whatever the reason for this, I wish we could get some information from Gimp. I also suspect that it might be due to dealing with spamming.
Any new information welcome !
Regards, gpzt.

If you have a problem finding a script or filter you need check out Gimp Scripts our sister site. :bigthup
You may be able to find it there.

Many are also here just browse through the Scripts and Plugins Index.

I don't think it's a spam issue. It could be your DNS or WHOIS queries triggered that server response message.

I can ping and tracert but just eventually get a series of timeouts. With tracert I'm very close but not sure by how many hops.

Well hopefully bugzilla will give us an answer soon. :)
I tried an email direct to the domain owners/holders address and got a email return error.

Hey folks i got an answer back from Michael Schumacher.

Quote:
"Yes, major hard drive failure coupled with raid desynchronization. The
registry data seems okay, but I cannot restart the machine until the other vms
have finished recovery. Thus will likely take another day or two."

So it may possibly be back up in a couple days.I had a feeling it was something major.I am very happy the registry is okay.

Thanks, Rod, for taking care of the issue and reporting it to Bugzilla. :)

Hopefully we can have the GPR settled again as soon as possible, considering that it represents the sole or main place where several people, like me, share their works.
