Getting Away For A Bit

Invited my father in law over today for his favorite meal, spaghetti, and out of nowhere he asked us if we wanted to go to Vermont the first week of September, for a weeks all paid vacation. Uuuuum, sure. :mrgreen:

Then he says, what the hell, lets leave next Sunday. So, next Sunday we leave for Vermont. Really looking forward to getting away for a bit. The wife and I have been stressing a lot here lately. Plus, his summer home on the lake is freaking awesome. Beautiful area up there, a few miles from Canada.

Good for you Warrior... Vermont is a very nice state. Lots of nice skiing there in the winter too but really beautiful in the Fall.

Haha, it's all good, I knew you meant well. I sure can't wait to get up there. July is one fine month to be on the lake for a week in Vermont.

Sounds like your going to do some fishing i bet.
I am off myself for some dirt time the 19th through to the 27th or later.
Two days of camping at Newago State Park and then we hit the White Trail for 6-7 days on a 30 mile hike.
I can't wait. Backpack is already packed minus food and water. :bigthup

Man, I'm ready to do some backpacking. We probably won't fish. We usually explore the area a bit, etc.
