Can someone suggest if there is a way to change the appearance of my Gimpchat interface (Yes, I mean Themes)? I am finding the default theme to be wasting space on my screen with big and bold letters etc.

You can not change the color theme. but you can change the way things are displayed via your user profile link under board pref/display options.

You may be able to change it (the CSS file) in your own browser via Web Developer add-on plug-in for Mozilla.
