Hi Gimp-users, i'm Saskia, and a new gimp-user, credits to my bro for the tip to check it out.

My main interest is photo-editing/manipulation, and i hope that i can find helpfull tips en trics on gimpchat how to use it.
I saw that there are a lot of tutorials on here, so i can enjoy and learn myself with those. But its always nice to know what other people see or think of me trying. Fair to say is, that i used psp before, so i'm not totally new to it, but not yet a pro by far.

I have been reading the topics on here for a few weeks now, and i saw a lot of good work passing by my eyes, wish i could paint like that. For now i'm keeping it to my photography en editing.

:welcome to gimp chat Saskia. There's a metric shet ton of information in those tutorials and a lot of the people that wrote/posted them are still very much active here at gc. People are always happy to post comments and even critiques to your work if you choose to share it here. GC is maybe the friendliest web community concerning gimp you will ever find and we're sure glad to see new faces, such as yourself.
