Hello everyone!
At first: Sorry, for my bad englisch writing... but it´s a long time ago, when I was in school to learn it. Reading and understanding is not the problem, but writing :oops:

. I´ll give my best to bring it back from the bottom of my brain :roll:

I´m a German and obsessed with Gimp since vaguely ten years. My favorite affectation in Gimp are photomanipulation, text-effects and realistic mapping of real things. I´m always searching for tutorials to better understand Gimp and make my projects more realistic.
Just when I discovered your site I became an overstimulation because of the tons of helpful tutorials, informations and ideas here! WOW!
Therefore, there was no question to register me here. I hope you affiliate me to your community and I´m looking forward for a good working relationship.

When you are wondering about my nickname, it was an DNA-Accident between a gherkin and a bottle of beer! :hehe

I totally agree with you about the observation that writing properly (much more than reading or even talking) is by far the hardest side when you have to communicate by a foreign language. Anyway, I think you shouldn't worry at all about your English, as your words seem to be absolutely intelligible for me.
By joining this site, now you have the opportunity to further improve your skills as well as test them out, since you will be able to both receive clarifications on any aspect of GIMP and share, in your turn, your personal knowledges and results to advantage of everyone.
