Can we please restore "Edit with GIMP..." to the Right-Click Menu?

Hi,
I love GIMP and use it often. I was saddened by a recent update which has removed "Edit with GIMP..." from the file->right-click menus. What the heck, I loved this! I am sure the majority of GIMP users loved this also.

If this was a marketing attempt to encourage User's to 'just set GIMP as the Default Application for Images' then I cry inside a bit...

Request/Plea
Can we restore this feature to the right-click menu? At minimum we could just add this feature as an option in Settings with a default value of 'Off'.

Important Context
I only ask this question after wasting nearly 30 minutes in researching how to manually add items to the Windows Right-Click menus. Gave up after 30 minutes... it is possible but not worth it, this would probably take 'me' another hour to complete!

I think the right-click option you are missing is purely a function of Windows and nothing to do with GIMP itself.
I think that to recover this option you will have to go through the Windows manual set-up procedure.

It is much easier to just right click an image format png, jpg gif whatever and select properties. Now change the program to open the file with GNU Image Manipulation Program. Save and then just right click the file and select open with and select>GNU image manipulation Program. This option changes when you install other image editors. By default the newest installed image editor will open the image until you change it.
