You are mistaken... the question is not how much are you willing to pay to have the time, it's how much you are willing to pay to show people you have the money. The perfect watch is $1000. Anything above this is just show-off.

Most I will pay for a watch is $50 (which is around what I paid for my Timex Atlantis 200 a few years ago; might have been $40). You must have purhased one of those iWatches aye ofnuts? lololol

It's ugly. I just buy cheap $8 watches at Walmart because I break or lose them so often.

No, it's a watch with real hands :) More expensive than a Timex, but not $1000 either. 16 years old, and still alive despite taking a lot of abuse.

My last Timex (Atlantis 100) lasted 21 years before I lost it (I know it's somewhere in my house). That watch went through a heck of a lot of beatings including the last 3 days of Basic and all of AIT (as well as several more ATs), 3 years of college, and a little Dessert Storm training. Miss the ol' talisman. I've had my Atlantis 200 now for a little over 4 years now; just recently had to replace the battery. No need for a special tool anymore; just a tiny screwdriver. lol

:)

Below is identical to my current watch, including the band:

LOL Nah. For 28,000 dollars I'd take a trip to another country for a few months. My shirts are at most $5. :lol

I wouldn't pay that much. I have a watch with real hands. I won't wear a digital watch. I need to be able to manually wind mine. I think i paid 29 USD for it and that was 1 year ago. Only thing i replaced was the band with para cord and a quick release buckle. I like it because it has a steam punk look.
