Hi friends
I love the effect.
I am attaching two pictures.
The original image is a photo of a "photoshop" in Rhodes.
Doron.

try it also on images with a single subject which be expected to benefit of "plasticity" aspect

And nice flower, Issabella! Between clouds and flowers, we've got a whole Georgia O'Keeffe thing going.

yes, it's really an interesting filter (thanks, GC!) once you find the appropriate source image
(an appropriate image IMO is one which will be improved by gaining in plasticity: human figures, animals, etc...those you have experimentd with)

Pat, you used a fantastic animal and it's a great election for this filter. I love the horse. :clap

Issabella and Dinasset: Thank you very much for your comments. It did take me awhile to decide which photo to use. Some are very obvious that they would not be very good to emboss.

Been toying with creating fake photo-realistic (and ethereal) HDR renders for some time now. Had a brain fart (and it's still a bit too colluded for me to do a simple tutorial (not to mention I have to get to work in a few hours for my weekend shift; lol) at the moment. Regardless, GC's Emboss was the brain fart that I needed for this type of look. Doesn't work well with open sky though, but does a pretty cool job with woods and deep jungle renders imo. :)
