Just being pedantic, but for coloured half toning the dots should be coloured on whatever colour paper is used for printing.

Version 2 of Color script doesn't have debug messages and it doesn't need dependent/required script so is independent script.

Went past your other link and couldn't figure out how you did the colour one so I overlayed (mode) an original

The color one is just a different script applied to a color image. same usage as black and white one it just reads from 3 values (RGB) instead of just from one gray value.
