Thank you to all who replied. Seems like a friendly and useful place to hang. I'll try to stay active and participate where I can. I first got acquainted with GIMP late in the last century on an early Debian release but have only used it occasionally. Now that 2.9.x supports 16 bit-depth I'm on-board. Hat is off to all who have made GIMP what it is today.

I'm hoping to learn Gimp so that I can design logos for t-shirt printing. I love artwork so I'm trying something new and hoping it'll work.
