I agree; like the realtime control of the gegl presets too, Rod even though I'm sure it's taxing my my 2014 vintage system. lol

Pity that GEGL operations are still not interfaced in PDB.
I suggested some time ago to have at least an interface similar to the G'MIC one (one single call, with a string of text with the parameters….).

It works a treat on oil-painting images to bring out the artist's marks.

Example below - original on the left. Bump map on the right - probably overdone to show the effect more clearly.
