Hi a few months ago I tried to load G'MIC plugin in several ways, using the installer, downloading the zip file, putting links in Gimp's preferences-plugins folder, un-installing, reinstalling, turning off virus software, I lost count how many different combinations i used, eventually i got it working but not sure how,
I've just updated GIMP to 2.10.8, I haven't used G'MIC since not long after getting it work initially, but now i get the msg i was getting before, G'MIC tries to load, the screen starts & then goes away & this msg appears?? can anybody help pls?

Have you also re-installed the G'MIC plug-in with the newest version ? (highly recommended).

Hi, yes i went through the whole procedure as before, un-installing everything related to G'MIC, re-installing the 2.10 version for 64,downloading the zip file, trying all poss variations & options i could think of, this was only on Tues night i did this so it must be the most recent , (through-out the night ) I posted that msg on here Wed morning

I don't know what to say. We don't have this behavior here with our tests (of course ).
Yesterday, I've posted a new pre-release for upcoming version *2.4.2*, maybe you can give a try ?
