Hello Gimp users.

I add a photo of The change in GIMP tools over the years.

Which ONE of the new tools do you like? and use most often?

Doron.

Secrets revealed ;) This is my Gimp 2.10.8 toolbox.

Image

Favourites, not that I use them more than any other tool, but;

Unified Transform will scale, rotate, perspective/shear all at one time. Makes for less distortion caused by repeated individual transforms.

Warp Transform Much better than the old tool, working on the canvas, big advantage. Can be fun as well.

Probably more telling is what is not there. Foreground select, the align tool, pen tool, airbrush ...

I wonder how many ever go into Edit -> Preferences and set up the tool box to suit.

I have a couple more tools in Gimp 2.10.8. N-Point Deformation and Seamless Clone. I like N-Point Deformation and use it from time to time.
