LOL! Glad you like it. I didn't do anything special. I just played with beautify, color curves, dream smoothing, freaky details, and I think I tossed in a bit of detail equalizer.

You will. Following tutorials, you gain experience. Then you start to play and on reflecting things, you gain experience. And one day you will know what do to in what case.

I use inkscape too. The only thing I'm wondering about inkscape is how to save something. I'm not sure if I can save it in png or jpg. I also have no clue if svg is the format used to open up a saved project. I'm still trying to figure it out.

mackenzieh, you can export your Inkscape work in png or save the whole project in svg (Save As...)

When you want to export in PNG you can choose the whole page or the selection.
In general I select my drawing.
Give the file a place and a name by clicking Export As...

Don't forget to click Export then.

Thank you for your comments and your very lovely method. I keep getting more Gimp addictions!
