Wallace - hope you do not mind, but I did another pattern with very large triangles and of course turned it into another casual shirt. Suddenly realised that the colours I turned out using are the same as a football team I played for over 50 years back :hehe

That's quite a colorful jersey/shirt for footballing,
but I like it.

Wallace, maybe you should submit your "recording steps" idea to be built into future versions of gimp!!... :yes ....

I'm sure everyone has spent hours trying to replicate a masterpiece that they created yesterday, or even an hour ago.... :hehe ....

I understand what you're suggesting,
but the issue still remains,
that I don't record my steps/actions or processes.

Most of what I do.
Is done,
using the already built-in tools,
that Gimp provides.
Therefor these things are already there to be use.

It may be possible,
to have the steps/actions made into a script or plug-in.
However,
it's up to me,
to record what it is I've done.
In order for it to be made into a script or plug-in.

imo, the issue is that Gimp doesnt show the values used in the history tab.

The nice thing about G'MIC is you can set the plug-in to create a layer on the output that has the values used in the filter, so you can always recreate the effect.

Photoshop has the functionality to record steps and replay them later as something called an Action.
Which is more or less a script in Gimp.

Once we get node based non-destructive editing in Gimp (which is probably years ahead), everything will be easier.

Of course you can always use a screengrabber to record your workflow, although sometimes that interferes with the program and is also heavy on the processor.

Those are some bold shirt designs,
but I think everyone knows which one I like most.
