Hi! This is new Gimp/Blender work. Mountain is modeled with Blender and with Gimp added fog. And also make some corrections with Gimp.
You can use this image like desktop wallpaper etc.Have fun :)

I think it looks great,
however, something seems to be missing,
but I can't quite put my finger on what that might be.

I love cold, but one thing is sure. I'm not gonna spend summer at your mountain.
Unless the castle Gimpenstein is equipped with triple-windows and all modern facilities.
The mountains look very good, but that snow is little weird, like living organism or neuron dendrites.

Thank you for critiques. I think there is something missing too.... like boulders,maybe small trees. And that snow is really little bit weird and alien. But that is main reason why i chose that color map for this work. But basic method this work is: very large landscape with high altitude so there is no so much details. But next work,what ever it is there should be more details.

Beautiful work. If I was painting this scene I would want to add a foreground element for depth and contrast. Other than that, it is an amazing piece!
