Nidhogg, I love the orange background for your robot. Was that a "found" background or did you create it? If created, what filters?

The background is a result of Fattal tonemapping, noise and a chain of customized G'mic filters to create a sketch look.
The green color was changed with an overlay color layer. I'm writing a tutorial as soon as I can if you're interested to try.

Definitely, Nidhogg. I'll be on the lookout for it. I'm fascinated by interesting backgrounds, patterns, etc, and would love to have the skill to create more of them.

I wish the more creative members would indicate the filters they use for these types of "plays." Sometimes I recognize them, but mostly I'm in the dark as to how effects are created.
