I think that the 2nd (sublime) was obtained from the paths of the first?

level_0 - the first image was created by stroking multiple paths with symmetry painting set at 4. The second image was a custom brush with symmetry painting usong a varying number of points

Erisian - thank you. I love woodworking for real too - we are still using the bedroom furniture and bedhead I made years back; not antiques but getting old like me :roll:
