My next test was to run colorize on the original sized layer. Then i resized the image and ran it again.
It desaturated my image entirely! :lol

So i took that result and rescaled to original size. Ran it again and it worked.
Powerful witchcraft going on here.

I found this selective HSV script: https://www.deviantart.com/the-gimp/art ... SV-1473010
However, when I run it, I get this error:

Is it possible for someone to revive the script and get it working in gimp 2.10.24?

I also found this script and it also throws an error: https://www.deviantart.com/the-gimp/art ... on-1473170

Is it possible for the script to work in the current version of gimp?

Can't download without a DeviantArt login. What does it do that 2.10 Gimp cannot do?

roughly in a selection it uses Hue-Saturation-Value (I did not download it)

IMO this script is just trying to re-invent the wheel... (Colors/Hue-Saturation will do it, Colors/Hue-Chroma, Colors/Desaturate.. colors/Map and just so-so many more ways....)
about the second link...it copy a selection

How to To copy a selection to another image in GIMP,
Select > Selection to path, then drag n' drop the path to the other image
Same with Channels (it's even better as you got already a mask as well)

Fairly old script... these wheels may not have existed in Gimp back in the day. But yes, with Gimp 2.10 I don't see what is so special about it, unless there is a hidden meaning in "all the area around it".

I was just curious. On Deviant Art I was looking for something else and I stumbled on the scripts.
