Also if one were so inclined.
Another way is by using G'Mic-QT integration as I did here.

In most cases you can also evoke "Blinds".
By using the / search function.

Hello.
this discussion has inspired me to add a 'Stripe' filter to G'MIC (in category 'Patterns /').
It's now available in G'MIC-Qt filters after an update, and now, only if you're using the version under development (3.5.0_pre) of the plug-in, available from the G'MIC website.

You are right. I've made a modification to alpha blend with input layer.
