I have been busy with the exploration of thin/thinner custom fonts and joining the characters.
My current thinking is that custom fonts that use alternative characters to end joining sequences at the end of words generally look better than the all-purpose joining characters.
It's a case of more characters but bigger filesizes as a result.

A couple of examples to follow that came out of my plays...

Another great thing about AI fonts is they can used commercially as the fonts are created on the go. No licenses needed. No copy write problems. :bigthup
