I've received a few requests to post updated stats for this site. Here are results for October 2011, up 10% over last month and up 50% over the last 6 months.

Approximately 40k unique visitors, 950k pages viewed, utilizing 70G of bandwidth. Approximately 10G of disk space is in use for storing files/images and forum software.

On average, Monday is the most trafficked day of the week. Saturday, Oct. 15th was the busiest day of the month.

Here are some other strange and interesting stats.

For some reason, this month, Google decided to send people here who search for the term "spotlight". Aside from a few GIMP related searches, it's the number one click through from a Google search. Go figure. Google works in mysterious ways.

Google can index this site without any problems but Bing/Yahoo, not as good, no matter what you give 'em. Gimp Chat gets 10's of 1000's of referrals from Google each month, but only several hundred from other search engines. I guess one reason is that Google's share of search engine market is around 70%, and climbing.

The most linked content this month was Rod's svg gradient tutorial: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1256

Spotlight? ... That is weird.
