I would like to suggest that the video and written tutorials be kept on two separate boards.
There are several people that prefer the written ones so they can print them and others prefer the videos.

Some of the written ones are quite lengthy due to all the scrn shots etc. It would be much easier if I were looking for a certain tutorial if I didn't have to go through a mixture, say one video then a written and so on.
Could this be possible in the very near future.

Or if you post a video you should always say in the title that it's a video?

...or there could be some kind of tut index. One for vid tuts, one for tuts you need to download as pdf, and one of tuts that are written out and screen-capped on the posting. With good descriptive titles, it would be easy to find what you need.

We can add subforums under the existing forums to better organize threads. We can just add a subforum for video tutorials and we can add other subforums as needed.

Does that sound reasonable?

If you do subforum, can you make every category a subforum? Otherwise people will read the main forum and not notice the subforum so much.

Good point Jolie. So, we would have 2 subforums: Tutorials and Video Tutorials? Would that cover everything or do we need others?

I'd say keep them together until there are enough tutorials to actually get confused. Otherwise the forum looks so empty. My personal opinion is that it's best if to have a small forum that looks busy then a big forum with many subforums that look abandoned.

That sounds reasonable. I'm on-board with that. When we get several pages of both kinds of tuts, we will create separate forums.
