I found out earlier this morning that my mom died on the 21st and my stepdad and step sister didn't tell me. I strongly support the no religious posts rule here but I will say that this is a good thing, not to be lamented. Her and my dad are together again after 55 years. Sorry for the infraction of the rules.

Sympathies to you and your family, and I don't think you broke any rules. A post about losing someone is not a religious post, IMO.
