Thanks for the greets. Wish you and all a Happy Thanksgiving as well. I for one don't worry about eating too much Turkey (that worry has to wait til the next New Year's Resolutions; lol). :)

Thanks, Molly. That font is in a script at File > Create > Logos > 3D Outline. It's a cool script.

After holiday report:

We made it through another one! I hope everyone here in the US had as good a day as we did - and for those outside the US, I hope you found (or can find) a reason to get together with family and friends. We had plenty of food and plenty of family that seems to like my cooking. Even some family that usually cannot attend due to work schedules made it, so it was a very pleasant gathering. My mother and I have been hosting these shin-digs* for the past four years here at the old homestead, and each one seems to be better than the last.

* shin-dig: a colloquial expression used for festive gatherings; referring to having an unskilled dance-partner whose feet spend as much time in contact with the your lower legs as they do on the dance floor. :lol

I love Thanksgiving. All my grown up kids come to visit. It was real nice this year, although Lions lost again... go figure hey! =P
Every year all the relatives rent a hall for Christmas shin-digs ... lol
No gifts are exchanged...just visitation, and lots of food.

Well maybe a few cards are handed out too.
