I've added a post number in the upper right corner of each post in a thread. The post number links directly to that post, making it easy to link directly to a specific post in a thread.

Example:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=317#p4875

I always just used the icon next to the word Posted above the post entry box.




I did that on the same page you did with your link. My link is little different but gets you to the same post.
