I would like saving a color with a specific name in the GIMP 2.8, so that when I looked for that color I might rehabilitate it in the window of altering the color of front. It would be enough to put the first letter in lease of ' Notation HTLM ' to have access to this color. For example, if I hit the letter c it appear copper. Who can help me?

As far as I know, adding new CSS code names is not configurable in GIMP, unless you want to add them manually in one of the gimp core files. It's not really complicated if you are a coder comfortable with C programming language since CSS code is just a set of RGB values.
I guess, you're not a coder otherwise you'd have figured this out yourself.
Instead, you can save your favorite colors to a new palette and give them the names you like in palette editor, but it will be still impossible to invoke them by typing letters in HTML notation box. You can open palette in the same FG/BG colors dialogue window where you change fg/bg colors (active palette is shown under palette tab) and pick the colors, so it won't be much of a detour, really.

You could just create a pattern with the color RGB value as the name. Then just use the pattern where you need it.In a selection or however. :)

I would suggest you make a palette of your favorite color(s) with names. There are a few ways to go; you can make them using the Palette Editor, at the Color Scheme Designer web site explained here in step #8 or you can make your own with a text editor (step #14). When you need to use your preferred color(s) open your palette in the palettes dialog, Windows → Dockable Dialogs → Palettes.

Thanks K1TesseraEna and Odinbc. I'll make my own palette. It's a good solution.
