gnu tux: you have put down so much work on making the page run smoothly lately, hope everything gets as good as it looks now when we move and :thanku for all your efforts!

so we're really migrating now, then. i feel like i should be putting all my favourite threads in one of those big chests we swedes call america chests and sit on the lid, just to make sure nothing happens to them :).

Tux,

I hope everything is well with all this change. Do not quite understand what is happening :puzzled , but I caught there will be a change of the server hosting the forum. Thanks for keeping the quality of Gimp Chat and hope that the forum does not get off.
I think the url will be the same, right?

I wish you success in this change! :bigthup :yes

I plan to keep the account alive on the old host for a couple of months, just in case things don't work out on the new host.

Worst case scenario is that we have to move back to the old host.

GnuTux, you don't look a bit like Alfred E. We're all going to hang in there with you.

"With all of us, how can something go wrong?" She asked innocently. :hehe

I'm going to get an early start on the migration to the new host.

Expect the site to go offline in the next hour or so.

Please check back in periodically to see if the site is back up. Hopefully most of the members will be able to access the site by tomorrow morning.

Thanks for your patience during the migration.

We're back online!

If you happen to be using open DNS, rather than your ISP's DNS, you'd be reading this now.

Well, that's not good. :cool

Let me run some tests and ensure all the data got copied over correctly.
