Bonjour,

Here are the results of a test that seems fun.
(Maybe if it's interesting I'll make a script-fu).
G'MIC is used to effect the rope (corde).

Here is the script-fu that uses G'MIC (script_fu_gmic_cordes.scm in the archive).

Filters > Map > GMIC Script-Fu Cordes ...

Be patient ...

A new script which is a variation of the previous ( Script-Fu_Dot_Lines.scm ) :
Filters > Map > Dot Lines ...

The many paths can be used for other effects.
