So, while they were climbing the towers, nothing has changed. I guess they wanted you to think they were fixing it. Too bad, I know it is very frustrating.
They came out and told me to call the power company because they think there is a problem with my home's ground. They said there was voltage on the coax cable and it was my problem, not theirs.
The other 3 techs I had out specifically checked for voltage on the line and it was fine. They all confirmed it was signal fluctuation upstream on the line. Funny how there is suddenly voltage on the line.
Also, funny how it worked just fine for two years and all this issues started when they jacked up the price, moved everyone to a higher speed and provided new modems. Since then, my service is horrible. It's very intermittent, going up and down like a yoyo all though out the day.
Instead of calling the power company and an electrician, I think I'll call AT&T and have them install Uverse internet. Then, I'll call Charter Cable and give them the boot.

GnuTux, just curious what did you use to make the slideshow video?
I went old school (because I am old school) and used a Linux app called dvd-slideshow. I used an older version of Fedora to create this. This package has issues with newer versions of Linux. It hasn't been updated lately. You might want to check out a package called
imagination for newer Linux distros. It's GUI based and easier to use.
